this isn't bad for a headshot, being what it is. Since it is a headshot, that does give a little excuse for lighting, but there isn't nay lighting on this pice, aside form the horse. The blending of the horns into the head is pretty good i must say I suggest, in whatever program you're sussing, though, try cloning a bit of the horses head onto another layer on top of the horns for even better blending. The eye painting isn't horrible. It's a little too sharp, try blurring the black part of the eye some to make it look softer. I suggest looking up eye tutorials.
